I am meditating, studying Buddhism and starting yoga to deal with neuropathy and the general chaos of 2020.
Somebody I respect pointed out to me that I won’t be much good to anybody as a musician or a person if I let myself physically and emotionally fall apart. So, I’m trying to do better and be better.
It’s not easy, but nothing beats a failure but a try.
In addition to stretching my body, mind and brain, I am bringing back the Daily Dojo, but this time I will use my photographs.
I caught this image of a great blue heron – a bird Amy was convinced is my spirit guide, whatever that is – from a moving car as I was driving through Blackwater. I literally stuck my Nikon out the car window and clicked the shutter without even glancing through the viewfinder. There is no way on earth I could do that again, even if I tried a million times.
